Location: The family-run Hotel Athina is located in Agios Stefanos, between the villages of Avliotes and Arillas. The sandy/pebble beach is only approx. 50 m away. Shopping and entertainment options are located in the immediate vicinity. The airport is accessible in approx. 40 km.
Facilities: The family-friendly complex is a Schauinsland-Reisen Original and features 73 rooms in two buildings, a lobby with a 24-hour reception, a restaurant, and a bar. Wi-Fi is included throughout the property. In the well-maintained outdoor area, there is a large swimming pool with a separate baby pool and a sun terrace. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included at the pool, and are available for a fee at the beach.
Accommodation:
Double room: The rooms feature two single beds, shower/WC, hairdryer, slippers, iron, telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning (centrally controlled), mini-fridge, coffee/tea station, as well as a balcony or terrace (D/DA). Optionally bookable with direct sea view (DM) or for single occupancy (DE/DEA/AME/DM1). These rooms are bookable until the end of summer 2026. *** For summer 2027, these rooms will be renovated and will then feature a bathroom with walk-in shower/WC, toiletries, hairdryer, slippers, air conditioning, flat-screen TV, telephone, safe, mini-fridge, coffee/tea station (filled upon arrival), a bottle of water upon arrival, as well as a balcony or terrace (Double room Superior DSU/DAS). Also bookable with direct sea view (DMU), for single occupancy (DSE/DAE/DME), or as a Superior economy room without balcony (2US).
Super economy room without balcony: Otherwise same facilities as the double room, without a balcony (SSZ). These rooms are bookable until the end of summer 2026.
Double room Deluxe sea view: The Double rooms Deluxe sea view are located in the building newly constructed in 2025 and are modernly equipped with a bathroom with walk-in shower/WC, hairdryer, toiletries, bathrobe and slippers, air conditioning, 50" smart satellite TV, telephone, safe, mini-fridge, coffee/tea station (daily refill) and Nespresso machine (with 4 capsules daily), a daily bottle of water, as well as a furnished balcony with sea view (DDM/MDI). Optionally also bookable for single occupancy (DM1).
Junior suite sea view: The junior suites are located in the building newly constructed in 2025, are modernly furnished, and feature a bathroom with walk-in shower/WC, hairdryer, toiletries, bathrobe and slippers, a combined living/sleeping area, air conditioning, 50" smart satellite TV, telephone, safe, mini-fridge, coffee/tea station (daily refill) and Nespresso machine (with 4 capsules daily), a daily bottle of water, as well as a furnished balcony with sea view (J2M).
Junior suite sea view sharing pool: The junior suites, built in summer 2023 and modernly furnished, feature a combined living/sleeping area, a bathroom with walk-in shower/WC, hairdryer, toiletries, bathrobe and slippers, air conditioning, 50" smart satellite TV, telephone, safe, mini-fridge, coffee/tea station (daily refill) and Nespresso machine (with 4 capsules daily), a daily bottle of water, as well as a furnished terrace with direct access to the sharing pool (J2H/W2). *** Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased safety risk for small children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen applies a minimum age of 6 years for children booking these room types.
Suite private pool sea view: The suites with private pool consist of two bedrooms separated by a sliding door, two bathrooms, and a combined living/sleeping area. With the same facilities as the junior suites with sea view, the suites offer an outdoor terrace with a private pool (IP2). The suites are bookable either with breakfast or half board. *** Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased safety risk for small children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen applies a minimum age of 6 years for children booking these room types.
Meals:
Half board: Breakfast from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM and dinner from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM in buffet form. Depending on occupancy, breakfast and dinner may also be offered as a set menu at the beginning and end of the season.
Sports for a fee: Water sports at the beach via local providers.
Children's program: Separate baby pool. Baby cots are available upon request.
